Alan Hall

Alan is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of MarketStar Corporation which is a seventeen-year-old global marketing and sales company headquartered in Ogden, Utah. MarketStar has operational capabilities in forty-five countries across North & South America, Canada, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

Market Star employs several thousand individuals worldwide. Since the company’s inception, it has represented scores of clients including such marquee clients as Hewlett Packard, Intel, Microsoft, Sony, Whirlpool, Sharp, Canon, and Samsung. Last year the company was responsible for delivering well over eight billion dollars in sales for its clients through the retail, business-to- business and direct marketing channels. MarketStar is part of the Omnicom Group, the world’s largest marketing communication company.

Alan was the 1997 Ernest and Young Utah Entrepreneur of the Year. He is active in the community serving as a past Chairman of the Board, of the Ogden/Weber Chamber of Commerce; past President of the Weber School District Foundation, and Chairman of the Alan and Jeanne Hall Foundation. He is presently the Capital Campaign Chairman of the Catholic Community Service Food Bank and the Mid Town Health Clinic. He is also founder and chairman of Grow Utah Ventures, a new financial fund for entrepreneurs in Northern Utah.

Alanl is a graduate of Weber State University and has a MBA from BYU. He is married to Jeanne Nowak Hall together they have six children with spouses and eight grandchildren.
