Pro-Series Management Courses
The Davis Business Alliance (DBA) is self funded and as such relies on donors and sponsors to help bring our multitude business resources and services to the doorstep of businesses within the Davis and Morgan County area.
In addition to our operating overhead, we have a series of educational events, seminars or classes that are under development and that will be identified as a course developed and offered by the sponsor.
For example the Pro Small Business Series has several modules have yet to be fully subscribed that benefit from an active sponsor of the DBA. This series of training classes designed to help the existing small business in areas that most owners don’t have the time or access to avail themselves of address such topics as :
- Strategic Planning
- Managing the Organization
- Finance for the Small Business
- Business and the Legal Environment
- Marketing the Small Business
- Technology and the Small Business
We also are looking for sponsors to help fund an annual Young Entrepreneurs Boot Camp that will help train a select group of area high school juniors and seniors in the establishment and operation of a business. It will introduce them to idea generation, drafting of the business plan, creation of a marketing plan and exposure to successful entrepreneurs from the area.
